Zoals de Sequentiel Circuits Pro One meer dan een monofone versie van de Prophet 5 was, is de Pro 2 veel meer dan een monofone Prophet 12. De ergonomie en de geluidskwaliteit zijn gelijk gebleven, maar de Pro 2 zit vol met leuke nieuwe features.
