White and colored ducks in the warm sunlight on the riverbank. Gustav Mesmer ( * 1865 Althausen ) , moved 1888 to Munich , where he also died 1924. He was at that time one of the best-known poultry painter and many of his images as postcards were printed . He also painted a lot of privat persons and how extensive his work is actually , is still unknown . Many of his pictures were sold to England and in the United States and there are privately owned .

Oil on canvas . In original condition , signed , H.54 / B.92 cm with frame. Overall in good condition with age-related Craquelle. und three little retouchings.
